Very interesting article at Slate by Chris Wilson on the odds that a video uploaded to YouTube will ever go 'viral', a term that has been as abused as any in the marketing lexicon over the last few years. One of the mitigating factors is competition as evidenced by this mind-blowing statistic: 20 hours of video are uploaded to YouTube every minute.
